Role • To promote and increase sales by developing and managing relationships with existing key regional installation companies within a given territory. • To win new business from our competitors by building relationships with their key customers. • To provide support to customers and the branch network in order to meet the Company objectives in Sales, Profit     and Service Quality. Key Responsibilities • To have a working technical knowledge of security products and the ability to sell and promote the Company and its products. • To be aware of new innovations in the market through technical training on a regular basis and attending product seminars. • Ensure regular contact with the Technical Support team; involving them in tenders, site visits & quotations. Sales • To achieve agreed set financial area targets on a monthly basis. • To develop, maintain and improve standards of service to your customer base • To successfully resolve customer queries through liaising with other departments within the company quickly and efficiently • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements. • Periodic Dashboard reviews with Key clients. • To meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators with regard to - Sales Activity Target Accounts Sales and Profit Growth Strategies Organisational • To liaise with the internal technical support team and other departments within the Company, to ensure that each division’s objectives are met. • To maintain an excellent working relationship with other departments, Regional Business Managers and staff to support business development and retention. • To ensure that all the administration, records and reports are completed to agreed requirements and deadlines. Generic • To maintain a high standard of appearance and dress, i.e. Business Suit • To maintain the Company vehicle in accordance with the Company Car handbook. • To be aware of the Company’s Health & Safety policy and to be responsible for all issues connected to the role. • To carry out any other duties which may reasonably be expected by the Company. • Maintain excellent working relationships with all staff to assist in the achievement of business objectives.   Key Skills Required For this role we require someone who has worked in an external / commercial Account Management role from a similar industry. Candidates who have worked in Hardware / Software/ IT Distribution or scanning & mobility industry would also be of interest Sales • Account development and relationship building skills to maximise commercial opportunities. • Commercially astute with an understanding of the dynamics of sales growth, margin and profit • Target driven, focused, motivated, optimistic, positive and professional. • Must be mobile and flexible to customer and company demands. • Excellent opening, negotiating and closing skills. Communication • Superb communication and people skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, at all levels. • Excellent telephone manner with the ability to establish and build relationships quickly. • Strong inter-personal skills and an influential and non-abrasive team player. Organisation • Strong personal organisation and administration skills. Ability to multi-task effectively in a target driven and demanding environment. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately to ensure customer facing time is maximised. • PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and in-house Company systems or the ability to acquire such skills within a reasonable period of time
